If you invite a fellow hunter using their mobile number, they will automatically receive
their own user account with their own credit balance.
If your fellow hunter already has their own user account (e.g. because they already operate
their own TRAPMASTER® devices or are already a fellow hunter elsewhere), then your invitation
will appear in their “task view” as well as in their status notifications, and they can
accept it within their account.
If you only need additional email recipients, you can add these directly via the
desired email address. In this case, no mobile number is required.

Who is a fellow hunter, and who is the main hunter?
Main hunter (or operator) of a device is always the user who adds the device to their device list by entering the 6-digit device ID. The main hunter pays €0.10 per day for the data flat rate on the SIM card. These costs are deducted from the central credit balance in the main hunter’s user account.
A main hunter can invite any number of fellow hunters and share a device with them. A shared device then appears—marked with the “people” icon—also in the device list of the fellow hunter(s). Being a fellow hunter for one or more devices is generally always free of charge for fellow hunters—except if a fellow hunter opts to receive SMS notifications. Each SMS costs 9 cents—these costs are deducted from the fellow hunter’s credit balance.
All fellow hunters naturally have access to the free notification options
- TRAPMASTER app (push notifications),
- Telegram app (push notifications), and
available to them.
Who pays for what?
If the fellow hunter chooses free notifications via the TRAPMASTER app, email, and instant messages (Telegram), then the entire operation is free of charge for them. The main hunter pays the daily SIM data flat rate.
ONLY SMS messages incur costs. These are paid by each fellow hunter individually (9 cents per SMS). We therefore recommend that every fellow hunter, after their first login, change the notification settings in the “Settings” menu and disable SMS if necessary. Each fellow hunter receives €1 starting credit from TRAPMASTER upon invitation so they can get started immediately—even with SMS.
A fellow hunter can of course also add their own TRAPMASTER devices to their account. For these devices, they then become the “main hunter” and pay for the data flat rate using credit from their own account.
